What we would tell you in the studio
- Waist and pleats. A high-rise waistband features belt loops, functional side pockets, and double front pleats. Faux welt pockets at the back keep the seat lying flat and clean.
- Tapered leg cut. The leg runs straight through the thigh with extra ease, then narrows slightly toward the hem. This keeps the ankle opening tidy over loafers or low boots.
- Stretch woven yarn. We blended rayon and nylon with spandex for recovery and resilience. The material provides gentle structure, rebounding after hours of sitting without bagging at the knees.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the waistband hardware. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low to preserve the press of the front pleats.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
