What we would tell you in the studio
- Asymmetric off shoulder neck. The neckline sits off the shoulders to leave the collarbones bare. It stays in place through knit tension across the upper chest, paired with long fitted sleeves that extend down to the wrist.
- Ruched body and drape. Gathered knit ruching runs through the midsection and hips. This construction adds textured folds across the fabric surface while allowing the close cut to flex and move with your stride.
- Lower hem and split. The skirt drops long past the knee toward the ankle, finishing with a high-low ruffle border and a side slit. The knit panel opens as you step to allow unhindered movement.
- Cold water wash care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine gauge surface. Wash separately or alongside like deep tones, skip the bleach and iron, and lay the garment flat to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
