What we would tell you in the studio
- V-neck and button front. The neckline dips into an open V that stays clear of high collars underneath. We set small, neat buttons down the front placket to let you wear the piece fastened fully or left undone over a base layer.
- Fine gauge knit. The yarn is spun thin and knitted in a smooth, lightweight gauge. It feels soft against bare skin and holds a clean, even texture throughout the grey body without adding bulk under an outer jacket.
- Straight short hem. We cut the hem straight across so it rests near the waist rather than covering the hips. That shorter line balances well with high-rise trousers, denim, or knit skirts, staying tidy without bunching.
- Cold water washing. Wash this knit in cold water on a gentle cycle, using a mesh bag to protect the button placket and fine stitches. Reshape the body while damp and dry it flat on a towel away from direct heat.
