What we would tell you in the studio
- Scalloped front edge. A wavy border trims the open V-neckline down through the button placket. It gives the front opening a textured finish without adding bulk to the lightweight knit structure.
- Straight cropped hem. The body is cut straight through the torso and finishes at a cropped length. It sits right at the natural waistline, pairing cleanly over high-rise trousers, skirts, or tucked tops.
- Light gauge yarn. We chose a blended yarn that feels smooth against bare skin and holds its shape through regular wear. The fine gauge keeps the weight low so the sweater folds down small.
- Gentle knit care. Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent to keep the scalloped edges crisp. Press out excess moisture with a clean towel and lay the garment flat to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
