What we would tell you in the studio
- Wavy edge detail. A gentle wave trims the open V-neck, front placket, cuffs, and hem. It gives the straight cut a lighter border without relying on heavy ribbing to pull in the edges.
- Lightweight red yarn. We chose a fine gauge knit blend that feels smooth against bare arms. The solid red dye runs saturated across the surface, giving the short silhouette a clear, focused presence.
- Cropped straight hem. The body falls straight from the shoulders to land at a short, cropped hemline. It rests above the hip, so it layers over tank tops and high-rise trousers without bunching up.
- Knit care routine. Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent or use a mesh bag on a delicate cycle. Lay it flat across a towel to dry so the wavy edges keep their shape.
