What we would tell you in the studio
- Asymmetrical collar construction. The neckline opens into a sharp v framed by an asymmetrical lapel collar. Small buttons secure the fold, giving the collar structure so it stays flat against the chest through regular wear.
- Straight torso and curved hem. We knit the body with a straight cut that avoids cling. The lower edge curves upward at the sides, giving the hem clean lines when worn over trousers or left loose over skirts.
- Full length set sleeves. The sleeves run straight down the arm to the wrist. Because the knit includes stretch, the sleeves push up comfortably and stay in place without stretching out the cuffs.
- Care and shape retention. Wash this knit on a gentle cycle in cold water with mild detergent. Lay it flat across a drying rack so the curved hem and collar keep their original shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
