What we would tell you in the studio
- Asymmetrical lapel neck. The neckline cuts into an open split with a foldover lapel on one side. Small buttons run along the collar edge, framing the throat without pulling tight across the chest.
- Straight cut and curved hem. The body falls straight through the torso without clinging at the waist. A rounded lower hem dips slightly in the front and back, resting across the upper hip for easy pairing over trousers or skirts.
- Long set sleeves. We cut the sleeves straight down to the wrist for a clean line under jackets. The fine-gauge knit gives them enough stretch to push up or layer comfortably inside a structured blazer.
- Yarn and wash care. The yarn blends smooth knit density with mechanical stretch for daily movement. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle inside a mesh bag, then lay flat to dry to keep the collar and hem flat.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
