What we would tell you in the studio
- Asymmetrical lapel collar. The collar folds over into an open V-neck with offset button accents along the side. It holds its shape without pulling tight at the throat, resting flat across the collarbone for easy layering over base tees.
- Straight body and curved hem. The body falls straight through the torso without clinging or billowing out. We finished the lower edge with a gentle curve around the hip, so the knit sits smoothly over jeans, knit skirts, or tailored work trousers.
- Long set-in sleeves. The sleeves are cut straight from the shoulder seam down to the wrists. Because the knit has built-in stretch, the cuffs push up the forearm easily and hold their position through a full day of movement.
- Yarn and laundering. We spun this medium-weight yarn with added stretch to keep its shape through repeated wear. Hand wash in cold water or use a gentle cycle with a mesh bag, then lay flat to dry to protect the collar line.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
