What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck cut. The neckline is finished as a neat crew that sits flat against the collarbone. It stays in place beneath heavier autumn coats without bunching or rolling down during wear.
  • Sleeve and stretch. Long sleeves run straight down the arm to meet the wrist. The knit holds enough give to move naturally, recovering its shape instead of bagging out at the elbows over hours of wear.
  • Long column hem. The skirt falls straight and lands long, reaching the lower calf or ankle depending on height. It keeps a clean column line that pairs with boots, low flats, or formal heels.
  • Cold wash care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or dry clean. Lay the dress flat on a drying rack so the weight of the damp knit does not stretch the hem out of shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
