What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and shoulders. A simple round neck sits flat against the collarbone without bulk. The line runs straight across to the shoulder seams, framing the upper chest cleanly while keeping full coverage through the back.
  • Close knit column. The knit holds close to the frame from the bust through the hips before falling straight to the lower calf. An integrated stretch in the yarn lets the fabric flex with movement and pull back into place.
  • Full length sleeves. Long sleeves follow the line of the arm down to a neat, unribbed wrist. The fine gauge fabric layers smoothly under wool coats or tailored jackets without bunching at the elbow or shoulder.
  • Lake Blue floral care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and lay flat on a towel to dry. Keeping the wet dress flat stops the long skirt from pulling the shoulders out of shape on a hanger.

Living with this one

Do
