What we would tell you in the studio
- Crewneck and shoulders. The round neckline sits flat against the collarbone with sturdy ribbed binding. We dropped the shoulder seams low on the arm to give the chest room to hang loose, accented by a narrow line of contrast knitting.
- Sleeve and cuff gauge. Long sleeves taper slightly from the wide armhole down toward the wrist. A banded contrast stripe sits just above the ribbing, which holds enough recovery to push up the forearm or stay settled over the hands.
- Yarn and stripe pattern. The cotton-blend yarn is spun for a midweight gauge that keeps its shape across a full day. Bold horizontal blocks of yellow, white, and blue run across the torso and line up cleanly along the side joins.
- Wash and care routines. Hand wash this knit in cold water or dry clean it when needed. Press with a cool iron if the stripes need smoothing after storage, and lay the piece flat on a towel away from direct heat to dry.
