What we would tell you in the studio
- High ribbed neck. The collar is knitted in a tidy vertical rib that sits comfortably against the throat. It holds its shape upright without needing to be folded over, blocking out cold air while leaving room to move.
- Roomy cut and hem. The body is cut wide to hang straight down, ending in a cropped length with wide ribbing along the bottom. This boxy shape pairs naturally over high-waisted trousers or slip skirts without bunching.
- Dropped sleeve construction. Low armholes give the shoulders a soft, relaxed line across the chest. The long sleeves taper down to wide ribbed cuffs that keep the fabric gathered neatly around your wrists throughout the day.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water or run on a gentle machine cycle with mild detergent. Reshape the knit while damp and lay it flat on a towel to dry, which protects the yarn from stretching out.
