What we would tell you in the studio

  • Wool blend fabric. The blended wool yarn gives this coat a firm hand and a clean, structured drape. It stays smooth across the shoulders and resists creasing through long days of winter wear.
  • Collar and front closure. Notched lapels meet at a crossover front that secures with two hidden snaps. You can leave the front hanging open over a base knit or close it securely against wind.
  • Sleeve and cuff straps. Long sleeves give you space to layer fine gauge sweaters or cardigans underneath without bunching. Narrow straps at each wrist add a tailored accent and keep the cuffs sitting squarely.
  • Washing and coat care. Spot clean small marks with a damp cloth and warm water. For full cleaning, use a trusted dry cleaner so the structured shoulders, lapels, and hem hold their original shape.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
