What we would tell you in the studio

  • Wool blend cloth. The yarn blend gives the weave a firm hand and steady weight across the shoulders. It cuts the wind while staying soft against skin, holding its lines through daily wear.
  • Closure and lapel. A notched lapel sits flat against the chest. Underneath, two front snaps secure the crossover overlap, and the tie belt lets you pull the waist in or leave the front loose.
  • Sleeve and cuff straps. The long sleeves are cut with enough ease to pull over midweight sweaters without binding at the armhole. Fabric straps trim each wrist to keep the cuffs in place.
  • Pockets and length. The hem drops down past the hips toward the knee for steady coverage on cool walks. Deep side pockets sit along the seam line to warm hands or hold a phone.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
