- Chunky yarn gauge. The yarn has a soft, pliant hand with generous natural stretch. It builds a thick fabric that holds heat without feeling stiff, dyed in a solid deep black across the entire run.
- Lantern sleeve shape. Each sleeve widens through the forearm before pulling in at the wrist cuff. That extra volume lets you pull the cardigan over thick shirts or long sleeves without the arms binding.
- Long open front. An open front edge meets a simple crew neckline at the collarbone. Because there are no buttons or fastenings, the front panels hang straight and shift easily as you walk.
- Washing and drying. Wash this knit in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Lay it flat on a clean towel so the heavy yarn keeps its shape while drying.
