What we would tell you in the studio
- Chunky gauge structure. The yarn has a plush, springy hand with natural give across the body. It forms a dense surface that blocks out a draft while keeping its shape through regular wear.
- Lantern sleeve shape. The sleeves curve outward through the forearm before pulling in close at the wrist with firm ribbing. That keeps the extra fabric from sliding over your hands.
- Long open front. An extended hem falls low on the leg, giving you full coverage over lighter baselayers. The front placket hangs clean without pulling or bunching when you walk.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cool water without bleach to protect the yarn softness. Squeeze out excess water gently and lay the cardigan flat on a towel to dry.
