What we would tell you in the studio
- Brushed surface feel. The yarn is spun with a gentle brushed texture that sits soft against bare arms. It offers light warmth without heavy bulk, packing down small into a bag.
- Roomy open cut. We shaped the body with a wide, straight fall from the shoulders down to the lower hem. It stays open in the front and moves freely over other garments.
- Front patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit flat at the lower front panels. They give you a place to rest your hands or hold light everyday items without pulling the knit.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the brushed finish. Lay the piece flat on a towel to dry so the length and shape hold steady.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.
Skip
- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
