What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neckline and placket. The rounded crew neck is finished with ribbing that matches the front placket. Button it fully closed to wear as a standalone top, or leave it open over a base layer.
- Cropped straight cut. The hem lands short near the waistband of high-rise trousers or skirts. It drops straight down from the shoulders, avoiding excess fabric around the waist.
- Short sleeve gauge. We gave this piece a set-in short sleeve that clears the elbow. The fine yarn keeps the layer light enough for warm afternoons indoors or out.
- Care and washing. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand with mild soap. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel to maintain its cropped length and button alignment.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.
