What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck and buttons. A plain round crew sits close to the collarbone without pulling. Down the front, small matching buttons fasten the placket flat so you can wear it closed as a top or open over a camisole.
- Short sleeve cut. The short sleeves finish mid-bicep with a soft self-edge. We shaped the armhole to sit cleanly under light jackets without gathering extra fabric, while remaining comfortable on warm afternoons.
- Cropped straight hem. The body falls in a straight line that neither clings to the torso nor billows out. It ends at a cropped length that pairs directly with high-waisted linen trousers or knit skirts.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent, or run it through a gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Reshape the knit while damp and dry it flat on a towel.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
