Womens 2 Piece Lounge Sets Fall Outfits Airport Travel Sweatsuits

We cut this two-piece set from a lightweight brushed fleece with plenty of built-in stretch. The buttoned henley neckline sits open or closed, while the matching trousers hang straight with deep side pockets. In deep burgundy, both pieces are dyed together so the shade matches across the top and bottom.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Brushed fleece hand. The yarn is brushed on the face for a soft, low-pile texture. It traps warmth without heavy bulk, keeping the drape light and loose through the body.
  • Henley neck and pocket. A short button placket gives the round neckline an adjustable break at the collarbone. We added a single chest patch pocket on the top and practical side pockets on the trousers.
  • Roomy straight cut. The top hangs clear of the waistline and the matching pants fall straight from an elasticated waist. The generous cut leaves space underneath for a fine base layer on colder mornings.
  • Cold wash care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to preserve the brushed fleece finish. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry flat to maintain the shape of the seams.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
