Womens 2 Piece Lounge Sets Fall Outfits Airport Travel Sweatsuits

We knitted this two-piece lounge set in deep chocolate brown from a lightweight brushed yarn with plenty of stretch. The top hangs away from the body with short sleeves and a buttoned front placket, while the trousers fall straight with deep functional pockets. Both pieces are dyed together for an exact colour match.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Buttoned crew neckline. The collar sits as a plain crew neck that opens into a short buttoned placket down the front. A small patch pocket sits flat against the chest without pulling the fabric out of line.
  • Roomy trousers with pockets. The trousers pull on with an elasticated waistband and fall straight down the leg. Deep side pockets are set directly into the side seams to carry small items without distorting the drape.
  • Lightweight brushed yarn. We selected a fine-gauge knit with a softly brushed surface that feels smooth against bare skin. The knit holds enough stretch to move easily while maintaining its structure throughout the day.
  • Cold water wash care. Machine wash the top and trousers together in cold water on a gentle cycle. Lay both pieces flat to dry to keep the brushed surface smooth and preserve the shape of the hems.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
