What we would tell you in the studio
- Crewneck collar. The round neck is ribbed to keep its shape through repeated wear. It sits close to the base of the throat, clean and level.
- Shorter hemline. The body cut finishes short, meeting high-rise waistbands without bunching fabric around the hips. Ribbing at the bottom edge anchors the profile.
- Close knit sleeve. Long sleeves follow the arm cleanly down to narrow cuffs that stay put at the wrist. The fine gauge gives you stretch without adding bulk.
- Care and washing. Machine wash cold with like colours to protect the olive tone. Lay the piece flat on a drying rack so the knit retains its original length.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
