What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neckline. The neckband is knitted in a tidy rib that holds its shape through regular dressing. It rests cleanly against the base of the throat without pulling.
- Cropped bottom hem. We stopped the body length short so the ribbed hem rests high on the waist. This cut pairs cleanly with high-rise trousers and skirts.
- Close fit. The knit stays close to the torso and arms. A modest amount of yarn stretch allows the body to move freely without bagging out at the elbows.
- Cold water wash. Machine wash this piece in cold water with similar blue tones. Lay the wet sweater flat on a dry towel so the knit retains its original shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
