What we would tell you in the studio
- Open front band. A broad knit border runs down both front edges to give the opening structure without buttons or hardware. It keeps the front lines straight while you move.
- Fine gauge knit. The yarn blend gives this piece a soft, smooth surface and fluid drape that stays light on the shoulders. It holds its shape without feeling stiff or heavy.
- Patch pocket placement. We set two square pockets low on the front panels at natural hand height. They sit flat against the knit when empty to keep the profile tidy.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit. Lay flat on a clean towel to dry so the hem and front bands do not stretch out.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
