What we would tell you in the studio
- Open front trim. A wide band borders the front opening, giving the cardigan enough structure to stay put without buttons. It falls in a clean vertical line that stays open over tees and dresses.
- Dual patch pockets. Two patch pockets are set flat onto the lower front panels. We knit them deep enough for small essentials, placed right where your hands naturally rest.
- Yarn hand and drape. The knit is light and smooth, with enough stretch to move easily while holding its shape. It hangs away from the torso rather than clinging to layers underneath.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle to protect the knit structure. Lay it flat on a dry towel away from direct heat so the hem does not stretch.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
