What we would tell you in the studio
- Open front band. A wide band borders the open front, holding the edges flat as you move. It hangs straight without pulling inward or bunching over base layers.
- Patch pockets. Two patch pockets sit square on the front panels. They lie flat against the knit when empty and hold small items without sagging the front edge.
- Drape and weight. The knit has enough weight to hang cleanly without feeling heavy. It layers over thin cotton tees, woven button-downs, or sleeveless tops.
- Launder and dry flat. Wash on a gentle cycle in cool water with mild liquid soap. Reshape the front band and hem while damp, then dry flat on a clean towel.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
