What we would tell you in the studio
- Roomy body cut. The body is cut wide and hangs away from the torso down to a low hem. It layers easily over collared shirts or base tees without pulling or binding through the midsection.
- Crew neckline. A clean circular neckband is ribbed to hold its round shape over repeated wear. It rests close to the base of the neck without gripping or folding over.
- Long sleeves. The sleeves run long down the arm to meet banded cuffs at the wrists. This keeps the extra fabric gathered neatly above the hands throughout the day.
- Cold water wash. Wash this piece by hand or run it on a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Reshape the damp knit and lay it flat on a towel to dry.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
