What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck and armholes. The round crew neck is bound with narrow ribbing that keeps its shape across wash and wear. Cleanly finished armholes leave the shoulders bare without pulling or gaping at the sides.
- Self-tie waist wrap. Ties cut from the same knit emerge from the side seams. You knot them at the side or front to adjust the tension around the midsection.
- Short mini hem. The straight hem lands mid-thigh. It is turned and stitched flat so the edge stays weighted down rather than rolling upward as you move.
- Yarn care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine knit surface and waist ties from snagging. Tumble dry on a low heat setting or lay it flat on a rack.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
