What we would tell you in the studio
- Knit structure and drape. This is a compact, fine knit that remains thin while keeping its structure. It falls straight down from the shoulders without clinging, holding an even drape through the body when you move.
- Band and pocket details. A flat self-knit band borders the front opening to keep the edges lying flat. Two patch pockets sit on the lower panels, deep enough for small items and positioned at natural hand height.
- Mid-length straight hem. The cut drops past the hip toward the knee. This straight line balances shorter knit tops or dresses underneath, leaving the front open so inner layers stay visible.
- Washing and care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the fine stitch work. Lay the piece flat to dry on a towel rather than hanging, which keeps the shoulders and hem from stretching.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
