What we would tell you in the studio
- V-neck and button placket. The front opens into a clear V-neckline framed by ribbed trim. Faux tortoiseshell buttons run down the center, giving you the choice to wear it closed or partially open over a base layer.
- Armhole and straight body. We cut the body straight through the torso, leaving enough room to sit over a woven shirt without pulling. The armholes are cut close to the body to keep undergarments covered.
- Striped apricot knit. The smooth yarn is worked in a tight gauge that stays opaque and keeps its structure. Alternating stripes break up the apricot base, with ribbed binding reinforcing the hem.
- Care for flat drying. Wash by hand in cold water or run on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Squeeze out excess moisture without twisting and dry the vest flat to preserve the knit shape.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
