What we would tell you in the studio

  • Open crochet stitch. The loose yarn geometry forms an open-work pattern across the body. It gives the fabric natural mechanical give while keeping the layer light and unrestrictive.
  • Deep V-neckline. The collar is shaped into an open V that rests flat against the collarbone. Wide shoulder straps keep the placement steady without tugging at the back of the neck.
  • Roomy straight cut. We keep the torso wide so the fabric falls straight down to the hip line. It does not cling to the waist, leaving plenty of room for underlayers.
  • Washing and care. Hand wash in cold water or run a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Press the water out gently and lay it flat on a dry towel to preserve the crochet loop structure.

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
