What we would tell you in the studio
- V-neck and button front. A deep V-neck frames the collarbone, leading down to a clean row of front buttons. The placket stays flat against the chest, giving you the choice to button it fully or leave the top open over an undershirt.
- Open back cut. The reverse side opens up across the back for extra airflow. It changes the geometry of a traditional sweater vest, letting base layers show through or keeping things airy when worn alone in summer.
- Yarn hand and drape. The knit uses a smooth yarn blend that feels soft and cool to the touch. It has enough weight to fall straight without billowing in the wind, holding its shape through repeated days of wear.
- Washing and care. Hand wash this knit in cool water with mild soap, or choose dry cleaning. Press out water gently between clean towels rather than wringing it, then lay the vest flat to dry so the stripes stay straight.
