What we would tell you in the studio
- Striped knit structure. The wine and white bands are knitted directly into the fabric for crisp horizontal lines. The knit has a fine, lightweight gauge with natural mechanical give across the chest and back.
- V-neck and button front. A deep V-neckline leads into a neat front button placket. You can fasten it all the way down or leave the lowest buttons undone over high-rise trousers.
- Open back detail. The sleeveless armholes are bound cleanly to sit flat. Around the back, the cut opens up, changing how the knit hangs and letting air through on warmer days.
- Care and washing. Hand wash this knit in cool water with a gentle detergent to protect the buttons and yarn shape. Press excess water out in a clean towel, then dry flat on a rack.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
