What we would tell you in the studio

  • Open neckline cut. The neck sits wide and low across the collarbone. It leaves the throat open while the long sleeves keep the shoulders and arms covered.
  • Straight body drape. The dress falls in a clean, vertical line from chest to hem. It stays away from the body without billowing out as you walk.
  • Smooth inner layer. We backed the outer fabric with a soft lining. It keeps the long skirt opaque and helps the dress slide cleanly over skin.
  • Wash and dry care. Machine wash cold inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand. Hang on a rounded hanger or line dry to keep the length intact.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
