What we would tell you in the studio
- Crew neck closure. A close round neck finishes with a flat knit band that sits flush against the collarbone. Buttoned fully, it reads like a short-sleeved knit top; undone, it falls back as a light front layer.
- Short sleeve shape. The sleeves finish cleanly above the elbow with a knitted edge. This cut keeps warmth around the shoulders and chest while leaving forearms clear, making it simple to slide under a heavier coat when needed.
- Brushed yarn hand. We blended the yarn with stretch and brushed the surface for a soft, smooth touch against bare arms. The black dye is deep and matte, holding its shade without shine across the knit face.
- Washing and drying. Hand wash in cool water or use a gentle cycle with cold water. Press out excess moisture in a clean towel rather than wringing the body out, then lay flat on a drying rack to keep the knit shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
