Womens Lounge Sets 2 Piece Matching Pajamas Fall Outfits

We knit this two piece set in a fine vertical rib with plenty of give. The top has a crew neckline and long sleeves, hanging away from the torso to keep the fit loose. The grey tone is uniform across both pieces because we run them in the same yarn batch.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neckline and sleeves. The top features a banded crew neck that rests flat against the collarbone. The long sleeves follow the natural line of the arm without clinging tightly, ending in simple folded cuffs that hold their shape through daily movement.
  • Ribbed knit structure. A narrow vertical rib gives the fabric natural elasticity. The knit bends easily when you sit or stretch, then recovers its line without sagging at the elbows or knees. It feels soft against bare skin without any scratch.
  • Roomy body cut. The pullover top hangs loose from the shoulders down to the hip line. Because the cut stays away from the body, air moves through the knit easily while you rest or move around the house.
  • Laundering the set. Wash both pieces together on a gentle machine cycle with cold water so the grey colour fades evenly over time. Lay the pieces out flat on a towel to dry so the ribbed stitch does not stretch out under weight.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
