What we would tell you in the studio

  • Ribbed knit texture. The vertical rib adds clean texture and gives the yarn room to stretch and recover across the body as you move. It has a light, supple drape.
  • Crew neckline and sleeves. A clean round crew finishes the top without pulling tight against the collarbone. The long sleeves are cut straight down to simple self-knit cuffs.
  • Roomy proportions. Both the top and bottoms are cut wide so the fabric does not cling. The top hem lands near the hip, giving balanced coverage over the trousers.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash this set on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar pink tones. Lay both pieces flat to dry to keep the ribbing in shape.

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
