What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crew neck and side vents. The top has a flat-bound round crew neck that holds its shape. Side slits at the lower edge let the hem hang clear of the hip without bunching when you sit.
  • Fitted shorts with pocket. The shorts are knitted with high elastic recovery to stay close through the thigh. A deep utility pocket sits flat along the outer side seam to hold small items.
  • Yarn and drape. The knit is light and soft to the touch, with enough weight to let the top fall straight down. Both pieces share the same dye lot for an exact match in shade.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Lay the pieces flat on a clean towel to dry so the knit retains its original shape and elasticity.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
