What we would tell you in the studio

  • Roomy top cut. The top hangs clear of the torso with side slits along the lower hem. It gives you plenty of space through the chest and waist without pulling.
  • Fitted shorts with pocket. We knit the shorts with generous stretch so they sit close against the leg. A flat side pocket holds a key or a phone securely while you move.
  • Dark blue dye lot. Both pieces are dyed together in dark blue so the tone matches across the pair. The yarn feels smooth and cool against bare skin during warmer months.
  • Washing and drying. Wash the set in cold water on a gentle cycle to protect the elasticity. Lay both pieces flat on a towel to dry so the seams stay straight.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.

  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
