What we would tell you in the studio
- Upright collar. The mock neck stands upright without squeezing or folding over. It shields the throat from drafts, knitted in a firm rib that keeps its shape across a full day.
- Extended hem. We let the knit drop past the waist, down toward the lower leg. The straight hem hangs loose and uncinched, giving the piece a lean, vertical profile over skirts or slim trousers.
- Merino yarn hand. The yarn blends fine merino wool with smooth synthetic fibers to create a light fabric that sits soft against bare skin. It layers flat under wool overcoats without adding bulk.
- Care and shape. Wash by hand in cold water or run on a gentle machine cycle inside a mesh laundry bag. Lay the knit flat on a dry towel away from direct heat to protect the wool fiber.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
- Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
