What we would tell you in the studio
- High folded neck. The neckline sits high on the throat in a full rib that stays up without pinching. It folds over cleanly to trap warmth on cold mornings and keeps its shape after a full day of wear.
- Batwing sleeve construction. The sleeves start deep below the shoulder line to allow easy movement through the upper body. Ribbing at the wrists gathers the extra fabric and holds the cuffs in place when pushed up.
- Split side hem. We finished the lower edge with side splits so the knit moves freely when you walk. The hem falls between the hip and the knee, functioning as a short dress or a tunic top.
- Cold water care. Wash on a low temperature cycle inside a mesh laundry bag, or wash by hand in cold water. Lay the knit flat on a towel to dry so the heavy stitches do not stretch out.
