What we would tell you in the studio
- High neck construction. The turtleneck sits close enough to block drafts without binding. It folds over or bunches naturally, holding its height through the density of the knit.
- Batwing sleeve shape. We cut the armholes low on the body for an easy batwing line. The fabric narrows down the forearm, keeping the wrist tidy when pushed up.
- Side split hemline. The straight hem lands near the knee with open side vents. These slits let the heavy knit swing freely as you walk instead of catching across the thighs.
- Washing and care. Hand wash in cool water or place in a laundry net on a gentle cycle. Reshape the damp knit and lay it flat to dry to keep the length intact.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
