What we would tell you in the studio
- Stand collar henley. The neck sits upright as a ribbed stand collar, secured by a short front placket with matching buttons. Unfasten a few to let the collar spread open, or keep them closed on colder mornings to block drafts.
- Buttoned sleeve cuffs. We knit the sleeves with a classic drop shoulder that leads down into deep ribbed cuffs. Small decorative buttons sit along each wrist, echoing the placket at the neck and keeping the sleeve shape neat against the forearm.
- Nutmeg yarn hand. The knit blends smooth yarns to give the sweater a soft, pliable hand with noticeable horizontal stretch. Nutmeg brings a warm earthy brown tone to the surface, showing off the fine vertical ribs across the collar and cuffs.
- Layering and care. Slip a white tank top or cotton tee underneath to peek through the open placket, or wear it beneath a tailored wool trench coat. Wash on a gentle cold cycle inside a mesh bag and dry flat on a towel.
