What we would tell you in the studio
- Ribbed body and drape. The vertical ribbing gives the knit a steady, elastic drape that hangs away from the waist. It stays flat through the button placket and keeps its line across a full day of wear.
- Neckline and front closure. A wide v-neck opens up the collarbone and frames whatever you layer underneath. Matched buttons run straight down the center, giving you the choice to wear it closed or fully unfastened.
- Cap sleeves and dropped shoulders. The shoulder line extends past the natural shoulder to form short cap sleeves. This open cut avoids bunching around the armholes when worn over long-sleeve cotton button-downs or light turtlenecks.
- Hemline and washing care. Deep side slits at the lower hem give the longer cut room to move when you walk or sit. Hand wash in cool water or dry clean, then press flat on a towel to dry.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
