What we would tell you in the studio
- Chunky waffle texture. The waffle stitch gives the fabric depth and a steady weight without feeling stiff. It hangs straight down from the shoulders, letting air move through the knit while keeping a solid, structured drape.
- Long duster hem. The hem lands low on the leg, well below the knee. Ribbing along the bottom edge weights the panel so it stays down rather than catching or curling as you walk.
- Dropped sleeve cut. We set the armholes low on the frame to give the upper body plenty of room. The long sleeves narrow into ribbed cuffs that stay in place when pulled up the forearm.
- Washing and drying. Hand wash in cold water without wringing or twisting the wet yarn. Reshape the panels while damp and dry flat on a towel so the weight of the long hem does not stretch the stitch.

- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
- Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
