What we would tell you in the studio

  • Four button neckline. The v neck fastens with four small buttons down the front placket. Fasten all four to keep the collar tidy, or unbutton several to open the neck wider over a plain base tank.
  • Drawstring knit shorts. We knit the shorts with an elasticated waistband threaded with a functional knit cord. Inset side pockets sit flat against the hip and carry light small essentials without distorting the outer profile.
  • Cropped boxy top. The top hangs away from the waist with a squared hemline that lands short. Dropped shoulder seams create a relaxed short sleeve, leaving room across the chest and underarms for warm-weather wear.
  • Cotton yarn care. Knit in soft, lightweight cotton-rich yarn dyed in saturated hot pink. Wash on a gentle machine cycle in cool water or dry clean, then lay flat on a drying rack to protect the stitch tension.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
