What we would tell you in the studio

  • Adjustable button neck. Four buttons sit beneath an open neckline so you can fasten the placket high or leave it loose. The collar rests flat against the collarbone without pulling back.
  • Drawstring short waist. The shorts have an integrated drawstring threaded through the knit waistband and two set-in pockets. The leg opening sits wide around the thigh to allow easy movement.
  • Cotton rich gauge. We chose a cotton-rich yarn that stays cool in warm weather. The surface is smooth and does not cling, keeping its relaxed shape through repeated days of wear.
  • Washing and care. Machine wash this set on a gentle cycle in cold water or take it to a dry cleaner. Reshape the pieces while damp and dry them flat on a towel.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
