What we would tell you in the studio
- Shaped henley neckline. The open V-neck placket fastens with small buttons so you can adjust the collar line. It sits flat against the collarbone without pulling.
- Short sleeve cut. The short sleeves are cut wide at the armhole to keep the upper body loose. They drop cleanly off the shoulder without binding around the bicep.
- Wide trouser leg. The pants use an elastic waistband with a knit drawcord. The legs hang straight and loose from the hip down, ending above the ankle.
- Knit care routine. Wash both pieces together in cool water using a gentle cycle. Lay them flat on a drying rack to keep the yarn from stretching out.
Living with this one
Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
- Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

- The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
