Women's 2 Piece Matching Lounge Sets

We knit this lounge set as a pair so the navy yarn matches across both pieces. The long-sleeve top hangs loose with a clean round neck, while the trousers sit comfortably at the waist with an adjustable knit drawstring. Deep side pockets keep small essentials close.

What we would tell you in the studio

  • Crewneck top cut. The top features a classic round neckline and long sleeves with ribbed cuffs. Its roomy body hangs straight down to the hip without clinging, leaving plenty of space to layer a thin tee underneath.
  • Drawstring knit trousers. We built the trousers with an elasticated waistband and an adjustable drawstring for a secure fit. Side pockets sit flat against the hip, providing useful storage without adding bulk to the side seams.
  • Matching dye lot. Knitting the top and bottom from the same yarn batch gives you a uniform navy tone throughout. Wear both pieces together as a full set or split them up with your other casual knits.
  • Laundering and care. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the knit surface. Lay both pieces flat on a clean towel to dry so the sleeves and trouser legs keep their original shape.

Living with this one

Do

  • Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
  • Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
  • Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
  • Measure a jumper you already like and compare it before you settle on a size.

Skip

  • Bleach and fabric softener, both of them flatten the surface.
  • The hot tumble dryer, which is how knit becomes one size smaller.
  • Hangers with thin shoulders, they leave two points that never come out.
  • Ironing directly on the face of the knit.
