What we would tell you in the studio
- Braided cable structure. Thick cable ribs travel vertically down the front, giving the yarn body and a dense hand. The relief patterning holds its shape over hours of wear while keeping the sweater supple.
- Round crew neckline. The neck is bound in a sturdy ribbed band that sits flat against the collarbone. It stays close without pinching, leaving room for a collared shirt underneath or worn directly over bare skin.
- Straight hip length hem. We finish the bottom with a ribbed hem that rests around the hip line. Because the body is cut straight, the edge hangs evenly across denim, knit skirts, or tailored trousers.
- Washing and yarn care. Hand wash in cold water or run on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, press out excess water without wringing, and lay the knit flat to dry so the cables keep their shape.

Do
- Wash cold and on the gentle cycle, or by hand if the yarn feels loose.
- Dry it flat, in shape, away from the radiator.
- Fold it on the shelf rather than hanging it by the shoulders.
